It’s Time for a Self-Care Revolution

We’re saying “enough is enough” to the bath bombs, scented candles, and bookshelves of self-help books, and saying hello to a step-by-step process to spark and maintain joy in our lives again.

I’m Ashley. Yes, there are a couple of letters after my name, and a “Dr.” in front of it, but you’ll soon find out that I don’t care too much about that. I care more about achievable goals that help you design a life where your health works for you, not against you.

I believe in slow mornings, calm voices, and strong intentions. I also believe that your hormones are a Superpower, and I’m on a mission to show you how you can support your burnout recovery, prevent yourself from ending up 10 feet underground again and use your hormones to your advantage.

Use the resources available on this site to help foster a sense of breathability in your life. Take things one step at a time and know that, no matter where you’re at in this world, I’m cheering you on.

My Self-Care Superpowers
To Feel Your Best…

One of the biggest deposits we can give ourselves is consistent fuel. The best place to start is in the kitchen, assembling meals with a combination of protein, healthy fats, fibres, and something green.

Rest is vital for better mental health, increased concentration and memory, a healthier immune system, reduced stress, improved mood, and even a better metabolism.

It’s not about avoiding stress, it’s about developing coping strategies and tools to recover appropriately. This is something we don’t just preach, we also practice.

Movement allows us to burn off adrenaline, build in capacity to our body and calm our squirrel brains. We don’t need to run marathons, but we do need to move our bodies.

Our inherent beliefs about Self Care came from watching our mothers, and the same can be said about the people we surround ourselves with. Those who we spend the most time with can deposit to, or withdraw from, our energy bank accounts.

Is your health working for you, or against you? It’s the question I ask every single one of my patients every visit. Shifting our mindset towards “practicing” new habits and lifestyle shifts is the focus of all of our courses.

my patients have taught me everything.

When I spend time on Social Media, I am reminded of the fact that many people are sharing the steps, tools, or focus that helped them.

I love this. Because sharing our stories is what help us develop community, belonging and support.

I come from a different background. My job requires me to have a series of tools that I can choose and use for multiple different scenarios. I’ve seen thousands of patients through burnout prevention and burnout recovery, and have used different tools for different people. When I started to design these courses, I did them with this belief in mind. That you would receive multiple scenarios and tools so that you could find one that best suits your life. This is no cookie cutter approach, it’s a focused approach that gives you what you need to make sustainable changes tomorrow, with things you already have at home.

I’m passionate about getting usable information directly into your hands.  Our free resources are designed to give you knowledge and support (and ideally something you didn’t already know!)
